Show #172, Release date: 4. July, 2011

In keeping with the tradiition of featuring each Wall show I've been to, here is the latest (for now). Going to this gig in the West Midlands region of the UK was completely unexpected. ...from the plane to the train in London to the show at the NIA with backpack in hand. I was fortunate to attend and now you too can bask it's sonic bliss. Shortly after returning home I discovered two different recordings. So I mixed the two together and wow... from The NIA, Birmingham, UK, 27. June, 2011.

I've been meaning to post this for a few days but there was tweaking that still needed to be done. I think it's ready now. Enjoy!

Hi Doc,

Another great job stitching together two recordings - it sounds fabulous! I was at this show with a friend and we were hoping to meet up with you but sadly we got caught up in bad traffic and came in to the arena during The Thin Ice. Not so bad for me as I've seen the show six times now but it was my friends first! Anyhow, we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Going to download the Manchester show now - could it really be better than this one?

Oh one thing, is there any chance of being able to get hold of your Birmingham show matrix as a high res file please? I'd like to be able to burn it to CD for my friend (and myself ;-)).

hi doc i hope you have a good recording of the manchester 28th gig.i know you did not record this show yourself.i recorded the whole show on my phone,its ok but i am looking foward to hearing a realy good recording of this show
