Show #159, Release date: 1. October, 2010 This was a first time for many seeing this intense production. It was my first time. I have a "no pee during a show" policy but close to the end of the first set, nature called and I couldn't hold it anymore. The cool thing was I felt like Pink during the bathroom scene in the film because of the concert noise in the background. You gotta try it! Anyway, I had such a blast meeting up with everyone from AFG again and I even got to meet some great new people. It was a very special time. - Hi Doc,So much better than the Toronto music. I was at Chicago, Monday night and this brings back many fun memories...Thanks!!!
One of Things about you putting up all the shows is that we each get to hear the show that we were at. I have tickets to the show in Minneapolis on Nov 8 and hope that someone records and gets you that one. Also enjoyed the blog of the people going to ALL THE SHOWS...HOW LUCKY IS THAT???
- Perhaps when the dust settles from the last brick coming down and all the recordings are in, you could do a master mix of the very best performances of each song (and best audio as well), a la ITAOT. That way, no muffed words, no guitar glitches. Keep good notes as you go along, I suppose. :-)
- Downloading now.
If you want to do a series who am I to complain.
What do you think to this for an idea.
While the wall shows are going on, you could switch gears and make it a weekly show, one week a wall concert from the concert series the next week do a normal show and so on next year when the concerts are all over drop back down to a 2 week show.
I am sure you have got nothing better to do. ;P
- really excited to hear this matrix, Doc...thanks.
And, I vote YES on the idea of a "concert series", since that's how the historic "Collectors" do it.
Great that you had a good time......man it si going to bring the House DOWN when Gilmour steps out for Comfortably Numb. - Can't wait to hear this one. Enjoyed the first in your series. I also found a video of the Toronto opener that looked like someone stitched together from several sources. Sound was so-so, but at least it gave me an idea of what to expect when I see the show at the end of the month. Thanks Doc.
