Show #180, Release date: 24. December, 2011

It's another convenient little themed, mix of a podcast I hope you won't forget... all nicely wrapped in a bow.  It's about remembering and it seems to go rather well with the season so why not a 'Christmas/Holiday''ish episode.  Its the first... and probably the last of such though... anyway, enjoy!

Have a safe and happy holiday season and a happy new year!  2011 has been a banner year for floydpodcast.  Thank you for being a part of it with me.

  • Thank you Doc for your amazing work these past 6+ years. I truly appreciate your gift. In return for which I sent you one on PayPal. Couldn't afford much, but it comes from the heart - and one of my first paychecks from my first job in 2 years.

Fellow listeners, shed the guilt! Give it up to The Man!

  • @Linger... true but it doesn't have "remember" in it nor is it about remembering.

@erb... or is it Herb. Thanks for the interesting comment. Bare my soul? Uncomfortable how?

  • A top notch podcast my favourite podcasts are when you do creative mixes with the music your talent shows through but I believe as with anyone creativity comes at a cost you bare your soul to an extent thats uncomfortable for some. Some favourites BD136(awesome) and BD66(x2 awesome) tight! tight! tight! keep bringing us that! An addicted fan herb

  • Hey Doc. Found the High Hopes Remix interesting. Why combine those two performances? Is the AOL recording that good? I've been in awe of the Gdansk version since it came out. The orchestra accompanying Dave & co. give a lot of heft. When Dave and the strings play that back and forth thing at the end it gives me chills. Anyhoo, great work as always. Merry New Year. Seeing any Wall shows next year?

  • Matt, your old friend, TheManInTheCUBE here. I've been loving your podcasts for all these years now and frequently point others to them. I've never ran into a Floyd fan who didn't love what you do.

Thank you, friend, for these gifts.
