Show #154 Release date: 25. July, 2010

Actually I didn't frame Roger.  Good friend and long time Brain Damaged listener Barry BURBs hit me up with a smashing good mix framed in the proper light.

Since I'm deeply immersed in my latest matrix project and with Roger making all the buzz lately, this seems rather fitting.  I always love when listeners generate content so keep em coming!

At Barry's request and in keeping with his podcasting style there will be no playlist for his one.  It’s a fun listen!  Don't forget to please leave your comments!  Thank you and enjoy!

Running time: 1h:21m:23sec

  • Hey doc your comment to the poster who said he was going to mix your podcasts for his ipod. What do you mean by "Process" I listen to your podcasts on my Ipod all the time. Do you mean don't take segments out? Sorry if its a stupid question but I'm just the layman about such things.

  • Jordan, certainly. It was taken from a 1995 double album "A Saucerful of Pink" which is cover versions of PF tracks and "Pigs on the Wing" was by "Helios Creed". The album is on Cherry Red Records with catalogue number CD BRED 120

  • Hello 'doctor' I'm always glad to download your podcasts and edit them into albums for my iPod. Brilliant for long journeys. I noticed you had various clips of the Eclipse show at the Rainbow theatre, do you have the entire show? it would be good to hear how it all first started for DSOTM. Do you also have a complete show for the Brighton Dome concerts? Maybe not the one interrupted at money. It'd be good to hear the full load in motion, since I've only had snippets from various compilation podcasts you've posted.

  • Cheers Maff! Great idea, I'd love to do the Pink Floyd one! The title is a spin on "I Framed Roger Rabbit" though so works best for Rog. The many intros bit wasn't done by me though, unfortunately, I found that out there on the net somewhere and the sharp eared amongst you would of picked up some AMLOR sound bites which is out of context!
Michael from South Carolina - hope you enjoyed it!
    Thanks Steve & The End!

  • Love It.
The many intros bit was my favourite section,
@Barry, will we be a seeing a series of mixes, Maybe :-
    "I Framed Syd Barrett"
    "I Framed David Gilmour"
    "I Framed Rick Wright"
    "I Framed Nick Mason"
    And to finish the series
    "I Framed Pink Floyd"
    Would be a great set!

  • Looking forward to hearing this (starting up as I write)....catching THE WALL in November in Atlanta.....so this is timely for the run=up to the show.

Thanks Barry for a dose of "The Creative Genius of Pink Floyd" (btw, ....SURE...love Dave too, not one of the 'siders'...and Happy to know that Dave is Initiating contact with Roger....WHAT that could lead to would be wonderful...WHO would do keyboards..jon Carin ?....maybe harry Waters...? )
