David Gilmour opened his North American On An Island
tour at David was amazing and Rick was incredible. It sucked that Nick wasn't there and Roger for that matter, but I kept thinking, "This is at least half of Pink Floyd, or 2/3 of post-Waters Floyd." Not bad considering it's the closest thing you'll get. Set 1 1. Castellorizon 2. This Heaven 3. Smile 4. Red Sky at Night 5. Take a Breath 6. Then I Close My Eyes 7. On An Island* 8. The Blue* 9. A Pocketful of Stones 10. Where We Start Set 2 Encore * with David Crosby and Graham Nash all images copyright 2006 thedoctor.cc Comments[16]

- Hi Doc,
Absolutely fabulous site you have here. Just found out about this a couple of days ago !
Regarding this podcast, I have a audience video recording of this which I got from trading. Is the audio sourced from this video recording ? Any idea ?
Thanks once again for putting up such a wonderful site ! - Im from Austria and watched the Gilmour show on Clamm Castle under the stars, it was an incredible feeling, im only sixteen so i havent seen a real Floyd show but Im optimistic that someday they will do a concert anywhere in Europe again. Shine on!
- once again, so many thanks for this amazing recording
in one of historys great venues in one of the planets great cities!
has me in tears!
again the sound is amazing and I'm sat right there in the audience
much appreciation for your hard work and time in getting this out there for all the people that didnt get on the phone fast enough to get a ticket
andy - Chears from Kastellorizo (or Castellorizon as it is on the CD) on the very end of Greece and Europe. It is very nice here, i am listening to your recording and i really understand why David dedicated the first song of his new stuff to this tiny island that is on the very end of civilization (or better say in the middle of nowhere).
