Show #130 Release date: 11. April, 2009

Finally a nicely themed podcast if I do say so myself.  I had a little fun with it.  The title pretty much gives the theme away BUT no playlist for this one.  Hahahaha!  I want to keep you on your toes.  There are a few tracks in this podcast that have never been featured before on Brain Damage.

(note: I made a boo boo giving a date for one of the songs, should be 84 not 94.   Mmmmmkay?)

  • I was wondering if anyone else on here under the age of 35 was as blown away as I was when I first heard "Pros and Cons."
I'll go ahead and admit that I'm a much bigger David fan than Roger as styles of music go, but remember quite clearly when a wayward dishwasher at the restaurant I worked at let me borrow a cassette, and I listened over and over and over.
I was no where near the obsessed Floydian that the internet has enabled me to be then, but I'm quite convinced it gave me a new depth of appreciation for what's become my favorite musical group.
It sticks out that it was a cassette, because this was 1999.
    Just thought I'd share.

    Just wondering. :)

  • LOVED hearing Pros and Cons live! Wondering if there is a chance of hearing the Clapton plays Floyd portion of that concert. I was always bummed Eric didn't follow the tour out to my side of the country, though the show was great anywho. Carry on.

As an insomniac from a family of insomniacs -- some folks think we're all vampires -- maybe I can put this on to go to sleep by.....

As always.....THANKS for all you do, Doc, to bring us these Floyd treats.
