  • Doc, I recently discovered your site while searching for background data on Pink Floyd. I downloaded all 9GBs of your Podcasts and am listening to them as often as I can. I am now patiently waiting to see when you post #116.

  • Very nice bonus, Doc. I immediately fired up DSotM on my sound system. The depth of the final version is truly remarkable. From a few notes here & a chord or two there, Floyd conjured up a true masterpiece. Genius.

  • WOW! Thanks again doc!

Maybe an idea for one of your next podcasts (I read this on Wikipedia):

\"On July 07, 2008, Van Morrison began to include Pink Floyd\'s Comfortably Numb on the set list of some of his live concert performances for the very first time, reading off a lyrics sheet with Katie Kissoon singing the Roger Waters verses. After singing it at the Massey Hall in Toronto, Canada he remarked, \"I hope you liked that. I\'m not numb and I\'m not comfortable.\"\"

I hope there is a recording of this somewhere hanging around.

Things cannot be destroyed once and for all.

  • Welcome back and thanks for a nice podcast! Altough I already have many of the tracks you included, there were some surprises, such as the 88 soundcheck, and it was nice to have them collected together in this way; your theme podcasts are always great to listen to. By the way, where did you get Storm to record the message? Were you at his exhibition in London recently?
