Show #111 Release
date: 17. May, 2008 Nick thinks we (because I was there) were "an
overly-enthusiastic or fanatically vegan audience." David asked the
crowd, "Did you enjoy your way with our pig?" He then adds, "I
don’t know what the fuck happened to it… seems like a lack of discipline will
get you torn into bacon around here." Comments[25]

- Thanks Doc!!!
My wife holds this show very close to her heart. She was slated to go to her senior prom that night, but she was offered a ticket last minute, and she accepted, her excuse to her date tat the time was...this is Floyd...sorry. PRICELESS! She really appreciates the recording!
- We've heard this countless times before.
He told 6 Music's Music Week: "Who knows? Who knows the future? I haven’t absolutely said 'no' to that possibility but I think that in reality any sort of long-term thing together is not going to happen.
"We did the one-off thing and that was probably enough for me but we shall see.” - Yes, I'm looking to have t-shirts done. this is what I have so far... (work in progress)
Brain Damage Swag.
I'd love to do the the brain scan image you see hidden behind my page (and isn't Homer Simpson) but I'm not sure how it will look. I'd have to make the black areas transparent so it can be printed on a black shirt. I'm not sure how... thats where "your" help comes in. - Hi Doc.
A few podcasts ago you asked for designers to get in touch with you for help with some T shirts, Does this mean you are releasing Brain Damage T shirts, Well I am no designer so I can't help but I would love a T shirt of the blue head that lives behind all of your pages sometimes I only see it for a second while the page loads. If you are going to get some t-shirts printed then you can put my name down on the pre-order list as long as they are black.(XL)
Please can we have the Denver show within the next few podcasts. I really wish Roger would do a complete amused to death concert. - thanks guys! i wish the sound were better for this one but all in all, not too bad.
Chris - this was the second time for me seeing Floyd but the first time they were in my backyard... so close you could hear concerts from my bedroom window.
The first time I saw them was in Providence a few months before. I have that recording as well but haven't decided if I should feature it or not because its not the best sounding.
- Love the local shows Doc! I've only had the pleasure to have seen Roger in '07 at the new Garden. But I love listening to the old shows when you know its your neighbors who are there. Makes you feel part of it too. The '75 and '77 Garden shows are great; the '94 Foxboro show; '06 Roger at the Tweeter; My father was even at the '73 Palace Theater, CT show. And considering '88 was the year I was born, I'm partial to this one. Thanks again Doc!
- Sublime stuff Doc.I see from reading the comments from the Stage of the alps Podcast (show 98)that this concert is very close to your heart. So was this your first experiance of the floyd 'in the flesh' as it were? Personally i love the 87/88/89 tours...Thanks again, looking foward the next show already..
- Nice one Doc. I was at this show. It was my first Floyd show, having been too young to see The Wall tour. Wish I had a scrap of pig as a souvenir, but just hearing Dave do Shine On as the opener made my year, maybe my decade. Keep up the good work, doc. We ARE listening, even though we don't always write!
