  • Well Dr. I gotta thank you, once again you have made my week. I was just thinking to myself that the only thing that could make today the day that rises above all the rest would be to hear a recording of A Saucerful of Secrets that was preformed exactly 38 years ago to the day. Then as was listening to show #53 Saucerful came into the mix and I looked up the setlist for the show and KABAM! there it was Holland 3 April 1971. And what is today..why of course it is 3 April 2009. Amazing, simply amazing. I've no clue how you do it, but you sure do rule! Keep it up

  • This particular podcast is one of the best! Anything with Dark Side of the Moon, SOYCD or Echoes is guaranteed great! With the original lineup, that is! The BBC Wembley recordings are great.

    Keep up the great work!

  • I love these \"mix\" podcasts that kind of go all over the place! Fun to hear the juxtaposition of eras\\solo etc!

  • I had a quick question regarding your podcasts. If you could shoot me a quick email I’d appreciate it. I’d like to do a Zappa related podcast but am wondering if you ran into problems with licensing and copyrights.
Love the site. I'm putting a link to your site on my page and have been really enjoying the podcasts this past month.

  • Yes I noticed that after I posted. The song sounds good live.

  • They didn't, Larry. Check the dates. Some of these tunes appear to be from Gilmour's recent solo tour.

  • Excellent podcast!

I especially enjoyed hearing "Wearing The Inside Out". I was not aware that they ever played that song live.

    Bravo.

  • Could you include "Dub side of the moon" on one of your next podcasts? I know it isnt floyd, but its good, and floyd inspired.
