  • Fantastic concert, the Childhood's end is extraordinary - the improvised/cutaway sections in the middle are some of the best passages of Floyd working as a tight unit in its prime....that's when all the history and wrangling we know is to come melts away and you can just revel in the magic. Other great DSOTM perf's...Winterland71 and In search of the cpmet Kahoutec...as said below, the evolution of the piece is truly fascinating at all stages. Thanks Doc, thanks truly, John UK

  • Another great show. This is one of my favorites. Thanks Doc. Since a few posts above are talking about the evolution of Dark Side of the Moon, check out my DSOTM page here. Lots of bootleg clips of each song through the years - scroll down at the bottom.

  • Great stuff. What a wonderful gift you've given us all, with your podcasts. I'm the vocalist for Lone Star Floyd, a Dallas, TX based Floyd tribute. Your site is a wonderful reference source. Thanks Doc!!!

  • I'm 19 so I never saw Pink Floyd in live and your website is just totally amazing ! I hopped for years that one day I could find more than the discography of the band and you're just my man !
Thanks a lot ! Cheers from Jura, France !

  • Another Great cast.
I have just got hold of a 160GB Ipod. So I can now throw all my movies and all my other music on my new Pod and that frees up my old 80GB Ipod to be used only for Floyd and solo Stuff.
Yeah Baby I Have now got a Floydpod.
    I am well exited.

  • Awesome job, Doc! It's really interesting to hear the evolution of DSOTM. And of course, it's a great surprise to hear Childhood's End.
Cheers for you from Santiago, Chile.

  • Its amazing how much DSOTM mutated accross 1972 to the point where they are almost playing the studio version minus the girls. Cheers for another great one Doc

  • ..Good show, pretty good sound on this one. The Hollywood Bowl show from 72 has always been a favourite with me,but this was a real treat. I take it there are no soundboard recordings from 72 out there? Oh,cant believe your 38 Doc,( If my maths is correct.)you look n sound younger! ;)

  • Thanks Doc-

another great podcast, probably the best live version of Childhoods End I've heard, and I love when Roger goes Mad Scotsman during Eugene!

I'd REALLY LOVE to hear a Syd era show spruced up and doctored for super sound. The only ones I've ever heard are basically un-listenable.
