Hey there! Well, it's less than a week away before I jet off to the U.K. The next podcast is lined up and ready for commentary from London and Cambridge as I visit some notable Floyd sites. It's going to be very cool indeed. I also hope to have the mic rolling before and during and after The Wall shows at London's O2. I'll be attending the following nights at the O2 - 11. May 2011 (section B1) - 12. May 2011 (section B3) -> it's this one! - 14. May 2011 (section 112) - 15. May 2011 (section A1) Good friend of the podcast, Simon Wimpenny keeps an excellent blog about his travels and meeting people while following Roger and the band across Europe. His site provides the following link with details on where countless Floyd fans will be meeting up for pre show drinks and good times! It's close to the venue and I Hope to see you there!! - Really fed up to have missed you in the Pilot on Sunday. I was in the pub but didn't recognise you. I only found out you were there from meeting the great Glenn P last night by accident. (Can you pass on my e-mail address - didn't have chance last night). Anyway - I didn't get the chance to say Thank You in person for all you do, so I'm doing it now!

- My eyes were still watering after Bring The Boys Back Home, so it took me about 15 seconds to realise it was DG atop the wall for CN. Well, I'm afraid I balled my eyes out - I couldn't help it. The only night I could make it to a show was THE night. Unbelievably lucky!!!
- Doc - So. Dave shows up on the second night. A-MAZ-ING. OK he was a bit rusty, but what a show and what an appearance. Incredible. Can't wait for the recording. We caught C-Numb here, with the moment Dave appears (unannounced) so the few seconds it takes the crowd but then the audience flip out: http://thedarksideofthemoon.co.uk/2011/roger-waters-the-wall-david-gilmour/

kenny b - Hey Doc, Hope you were suitably blown away last night. There was a fair amount of flubs, but it was still spine tingling nonetheless. Question for you, have you ever posted the Live 8 set on the blog? I couldn't find it. This would be a great time to throw it up there, with all of the 'momentarily back together' vibe in the air. What do you think?
Thanks,
pete
