Show #151 Release date: 9. May, 2010 I had normally planned on presenting my matrix recording from Foxboro, May 1988 as like an anniversary thing. Unfortunately I had to abort the project because the edited files became corrupt. The ghost in the Machine got the best of it. A while back someone handed a copy of a mystery 1987 Floyd gig in hopes that I could identify it and found that it was from Floyd's last night at the Rosemont Horizon in Chicago, 28th September. This podcast features that recording which I also discovered happens to be taken right from master, all doctored up to sound a little better. Set One: 01. Shine On You Crazy Diamond (pts. 1-5) 02. Signs of Life 03. Learning To Fly 04. Yet Another Movie/Round and Around 05. A New Machine (pt. 1) 06. Terminal Frost 07. A New Machine (pt. 2) 08. Sorrow 09. Dogs of War 10. On The Turning Away Set Two: 11. One Of These Days 12. Time 13. On The Run 14. Wish You Were Here 15. Welcome To The Machine 16. Us and Them 17. Money 18. Another Brick In The Wall (pt. 2) 19. Comfortably Numb Encore: 20. One Slip 21. Run Like Hell Running time: 2h:30m:04s Ticket stub: RonToon Harvested.org Comments[17]

- Thanks for this one Doc, i've had the 1st set on CD for a while now, but not the 2nd or encore. I read somewhere online that this is a soundboard recording, but after listening to the complete show it sounds more like a very good audience recording to me, am i right..?
- just received my wall 2010 anaheim ca. tickets. can't wait. kidda new to web site. hey "doc" have you heard of a bootleg called "omeyad" i want to say its austrailian. having fun raping and pillaging your web site. i plan to donate to the site just feeling it out first. hey "doc" i have a ton of video most from russia. i mean i have a disc i found in russia that has 8gigs 67-03. love to donate it but dont know how.
- doc, i forgot to ask you, do you think that you can turn that interview, with jim ladd and roger waters, talking about the wall concert 2010, INTO A PODCAST??? i would love to hear that on my ipod and more interviews by roger waters. especially the one he did with jimm ladd and the amuzed to death album.
thanks again doc. we love you out here in pink floyd land!
kenny nyc - doc you did it again. thankyou for your new podcast! i always look foward to listening to your new ones. i particularly ,love this concert because ,the second side of a momentary lapse of reason, always sounded ,like true pink floyd, to me. i love this being done live!
thankyou again doc and i hope you were able to get tickets to roger waters yesterday. im going to see him in nassau and msg in ny. i cant wait.
kenny - This is definitely a headphone show, but a killer one at that.
Thanks again, Doc.
Lookin forward to seeing Rog in the brand-spankin' new Consol Energy Center here in Pittsburgh. He'll be the fifth act there EVER, and my first look at the new home of my Penguins.
I was hoping he's be the first "rock" act there, but Rush beat him to it, and I can't afford to go to both (I would ALSO love to see Moving Pictures in it's entirety).
Something called "Lady Gaga" will debut the place. Whatever that is... - Real shame about the Matrix Project, at least you did manage to get one track from it on a podcast, so all was not completely lost..
How about doing a complete wall type thing using material from the demos the film the studio and live, you could even mix in some final cut material as most of it fits in. This would be like the Doctored Dark Side mix that you did awhile ago. The idea is that everything that was written for the wall all in one long podcast, to go even further where you have got comfortably numb with different lyrics in the demos maybe you could make one long song mixing all the lyrics form the demos and the lyrics that everyone knows into one (quite a challenge) Just to keep up the excitement of the upcoming Wall tour. - Thanks - nice show! Got to say I think this is a pretty sweet version of Comfortably Numb. The tempo is quick, doesn't seem as plodding as some of the others as they got further into the tour. David sounds like he was still figuring out the 'plan' for the big outro solo and there is a bunch of pretty nice raw improvising... still gives me chills :)
