Check out this freaky coincidence... the link provided has a recording of radioactive emissions coming from Saturn captured by NASA's Cassini spacecraft. So basically you can hear what Saturn sounds like... and it sounds like a clip from an early Floyd performance!

Hi doc,

Just a coincidence?? Could you have a go in mixing these sounds in with a live performance of Astronomy Domine (p.e. the Ummagumma one) Would sound great I suppose.

Just found your site and its brilliant. I really enjoyed the Australlia 1988 show, superb sound, nice one. Hey I was wondering if you could put up one of the floyds shows from Russia in 88 or 89? if they are decent sound quality. I imagine they would be interesting to many of your listeners as it was such an exotic location at the time. Anyway many thanks for such great stuff so far. ATB Stu 1201

Sounds like it's lifted straight off the Pompei DVD/gig. Very odd. Perhaps aliens on Saturn heard Floyd and are responding! ;-)
